Believe it or not, bluebirds accept dried mealworms readily!  And they’re available year-round, so there’s no problem with shipping during hot or cold weather.

Offer these in a shallow dish, saucer or mealworm feeder.  We suggest that you mix them or spray them with a very small amount of olive oil or vegetable oil before putting them out – it makes them look moister and more natural and helps keep them from blowing out of the feeder.
