How it works: Small birds cling to the outer cage and reach in to pull seed from the inner mesh tube.  Squirrels can't reach the seed, and larger birds like doves, blackbirds and jays are uncomfortable, trying to hang on for a meal. 

Caged tube feeders come fully assembled, satisfaction guaranteed. May be mounted on a 1 in pole - no bracket required. Squirrel resistant! Powder-coated metal grids make it easy for birds to feed and move around, while protecting them from predators. Use Black Oil Sunflower or shelled peanuts - we recommend a mix that's about 75% sunflower and 25% peanuts.
