How it works: The Twirl-A-Squirrel is a dome-shaped, motorized unit powered by 2 "D" batteries (included).  The Super Spiral feeder hangs from the dome, which automatically calibrates the feeder's weight.  When a squirrel gets on the feeder or recommended tray (Bird Quest Feeder Tray), the Twirl-A-Squirrel comes to life and spins the feeder until the squirrel falls off.

The Twirl-A-Squirrel is heavy duty plastic, with rustproof metal hooks, and comes completely assembled.  The Super Spiral Feeder has 9 feeding ports and features a quick-release base for easy cleaning.  The birds cling to the spiral perch and slide their way from port to port - fun to watch (and it looks like the birds are having fun as well.)
